Dr. Barton has been a family practitioner since 1978. He is retiring from full-time medical practice and is opening a small private office in the San Fernando Valley.
In his years of practice, Dr. Barton has extensive experience and has encountered a broad range of medical issues. His primary interest is helping patients with medical problems and health issues that fall outside the scope of many conventional practices, including treatments that take a more holistic approach.
Before scheduling an appointment in the office, Dr. Barton offers a 15-minute introductory telephone visit at no charge to see if his services fit your needs.

Retainer services
For a fee of $1200 per year, you can “reserve” 6 hours of telephone time to be scheduled during the next 12 months. Details and availability for these telehealth appointments will be discussed and agreed upon by you and Dr. Barton.
Testing will be requested at various commercial labs and imaging centers. Charges for these tests are your direct responsibility with the lab or imaging center.

This office does not offer or stock any pharmaceuticals such as narcotics, tranquilizers, sleeping pills, or other controlled substances.
Payment for in-office appointments is expected at the time services are rendered. We accept personal checks, debit and credit cards, Venmo, and Zelle. We do not accept or bill any medical insurance, Medicare or Medi-Cal. We do not take any cash payments.
Payment for telehealth services must be completed online before your appointment.
Dr. Barton does not provide any emergency services. If you feel you may have a medical or psychiatric emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
